Unless you don't live in the US, in which case it's blocked.

God, I fucking hate living in England.

Love the series, started on Spice and Wolf II just recently.
Horo's US voice actress does Rei's voice in Evangelion 1.0
Lawrence's JPN voice actor is the same guy who does Lelouch on Code Geass.

I knew she sounded familiar!

I torrented the whole series, so I got used to the japanese voices, but I'm really pleasantly surprised at the english casting. I'm actually thinking of buying the DVD. I don't have enough anime on DVD.

Except you are surrounded by girls with hot accents.

There is no such thing as a sexy accent in the US.

Southern? No.
North Eastern? No.
Dakotas/Minnasota? God, no.

I'll definately check out this show. I haven't found a good Anime series to be drawn into since GITS:Complex.

Well, the thing is, after you live here for a little while, you start to pick up on the differences between the dialects and it ruins the whole thing. For example, I live in Yorkshire and when I first moved here, I was like "wow, English accent = sexy", but after a few months, I realized there is no such thing as an "English accent." There are hundreds of different ones, and I started to hear all the little intricacies of the Yorkshire accent and even started speaking it myself, and it lost all of its power at that point.

Then you watch TV and can hear a different accent, say someone from Birmingham or something, and you go "Ew, what a horrible accent."

I guess what I'm saying is after you get used to it, it stops being sexy and even becomes annoying if someone has a particularly thick accent (which they do here in Yorkshire). In fact, I've had English people compliment me on my American accent, and I'm from California where we don't really have accents at all, so its the novelty that really makes an accent sexy in the end.

I have to say though, English women have the hottest bodies in the world, so that's definitely a plus.

One thing you may be relieved to know is that the series is rather short at only 25 or 26 episodes (I forget if that's counting the OVA from the first season) across 2 seasons.

twelve episodes in each season, but season 1 has a dvd only episode as well.

personally I'd like to see a season 3.

I just watched the first episode and watching the second ep now... Seems to set itself up rather alright. And after spending like 5 minutes comparing the dub vs. subs (because I have no life) I gotta agree the dub's pretty good. Holo sounds a bit more mature. Cool.
