So in Dark Knight, Harvey Dent was all about change. And not just regular change, either. He was for CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE. You know, like the generic feelgood phrases that Barack Obama likes to throw around. But look at how quickly Dent changed his tune. As soon as his love interest got killed off and half his face got burned off, he turned into a real prick. I think it's clear that Barack Obama will turn out the same way if thrown into that same completely commonplace situation, a situation thousands of Americans face everyday, a situation John McCain has endured roughly 12 times.

In summation, don't vote for Obama, because Two Face would not make a good president.

We don't have to worry about it, because Heath Ledger's dead.

it was the mob who created Two Face, not Heath Ledger. Then again, the mob traditionally backs Democrats, especially in Obama's home state of Illinois where Daly, Chicago's mob-friendly mayor, helped Kennedy steal the 1960 election.

But "I believe in two-face". McCain does have a chance but he's in a party that is being hounded for 8 years of screwups. If he was an independent he would have a better chance. And Obama is a n00b so we're not even sure he has what it takes, most new candidates are all talk anyway.

And if obama is two-face, what does that make McCain? Commissioner Gordon?

Yah, what i just said does sound unlikely now. Too bad, McCain is a good guy, I feel his chances are slim though. Independent did have a chance long ago and even had seats in the senate and house for a number of years. Damn this two party system, why must it be so black and white . . . or donkey and elephant Confused

I don't think Obama will turn though. Maybe, but then you are saying that all people will turn, all people are weak, and that under that same circumstances everyone will fall. I think not though, because to say that would be suicide as society, as civilization, and the human race. Personally I am a Nader fan, but if you have to pick out of a shitty 2 part backward ass fuck system, Obama is the way to go. I used to like McCain, but he buckled, like a belt, under so many issues, just to keep peace with his party, and be re-elected. I would rather back a loser that will stand up and do what is right then go with a winner, that caves. Thus my liking of Nader. Also, don't say that no one votes independent, for I have, and I am registered unaffilated. Some may say that it throws a vote away, but I say if you vote for the lesser of 2 evils, you still vote for evil, let me conscience be clear, and vote for someone of better character.

If Ron Paul were the Republican candidate, I could care less about the two-party system myself. Unlike everyone else, he wasn't talking out of his ass. I'm disappointed to be stuck between Obama and McCain, although I'm leaning towards the latter (even though I don't like him entirely).

I really don't care at politics at all. Both parties have their strings pulled by others who controls both parties anyway, and the separation of parties is just silly. Every vote every election year is a lesser of two evils, that never changes. So I'm going to do what George Carlin would do and stay home and not vote.

I just thought about something, McCain was more open mind and did favor some democrat ideals, so he might have a chance as an independent since he can get a following from both sides. Look at the Bull Moose Party:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_1912#Results

Theodore Roosevelt managed to take away so many electoral votes from the Republicans he made a huge impact. Of course this did give the Asses a chance to win by a landside, but that's not the point Twisted Evil

McCain not only has to make himself look good but he also has to brighten the Republicans image. I think Obama has a big chance although Nader may have a bigger chance then him.

I think that the best way to elect if you are going to have a 2 party system, is no general election, just each party with the huge number they had this year, everyone gets a choice to vote for any of them, not just as right in's, but as candidates, and that gives many more choices, still not perfect, but better

"Go away! 'Baitin'!"

If Obama is Dent, then McCain is the old guy at Bruce's penthouse who tells the Joker that they don't take demands from thugs, sounding like an out-of-touch old man.

OH NO HE DIDN'T

Joker created Two Face with his trap.

The Mob hired the Joker. And the cops who kidnapped Rachel and Harvey were on the Mob's payroll.

Joker used the mob. He's an anarchist, he just wants destruction, he didn't so much work for the mob as he used them as a means to an end. It was Joker that wanted to take down Batman, not the mob, and so therefore he is the one who made Batman choose between Rachael and Harvey. Just because the mob did the footwork is inconsequential to the fact it was The Joker's plan.

I was half-expecting the mob grunt Dent was cross-examining to douse him with acid instead of pulling the gun, but the way the movie did it was much better.

Teddy Roosevelt did not have political experience, spoke of hope and change, and was a rabid conservationist and worker's rights advocate. Hey, lightning can strike twice.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.
