Some album that has a good long space of dead air before the hidden track like Smash, Dookie, or Resident Alien.

I agree, so I would go with NIN's "Broken."

As much as I love various types of Metal and Noise Rock, I would probably choose something less intrusive for a lifetime soundtrack. I'm thinking Geinoh Yamashirogumi - Ecophony Rinne. It's the people that did the soundtrack for Akira. The album before the akira ost is simply amazing.

Dances with Wolves 2 is gonna ROCK!

I think I might go with Deadbeat Sweetheartbeats by Juliana Theory, it also has about 10 minutes of silence before the hidden track.

Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom.

Do multiple CD sets that don't contain past material from individual albums count?

Yes this would be ok, as long as there was no past material and it was sold as one.

Like a 2 disk album.

That's because most American cartoonist are going to Japan to draw Hentai.

Easy. Well, not too easy. I could list several albums that I'd be content with......but, if I was had to choose only one.....then it'd be:

Between The Buried and Me- Colors.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this album and it never get's old. It's technical as all fuck and though I'm a metalhead, I do like a change of pace.

BTBAM, especially on "Colors", showed that they have a progressive side to them and it's a down right, magnificent album!
