Midnight show.
It is now 4:30 and I'm still pumped.
That movie was INCREDIBLE. I've NEVER seen a movie play to an audience like that one did. Amazing.
YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE WITH PEOPLE! Do not wait, do not rent it by yourself. Get people. Talk. Shout at the screen. Clap. Scream. Whatever.

I agree. I watched it with 9 friends and it was fucking awesome. Everything I wanted to happen if snakes ever ended up on a plane happened in this movie. And it was sweet.

Ten reasons why Snakes On A Plane was fucking awesome:
1. Samuel L. Jackson
2. Rachel Blanchard
3. Kenan Thompson
4. David Koechner
5. Julianna Margulies
6. Lin Shaye
7. Obvious product placement
8. Bad CGI
9. Female nudity, followed by gore
10. There were motherfucking snakes on that motherfucking plane
The only way there are only two ways this movie could have been improved:
1. If David Koechner had killed a snake and then yelled "Whammy!"
2. If the movie had ended with Eddie Kim receiving a package. Mr. Kim is confused because he wasn't expecting a package, but he open it anyway. Oh no, snakes! Cut to a hill 500 yards away where Sean and Flynn are watching Kim get pwned by snakes. The movie ends with a freeze frame of them high-fiving.
NOTE: Nothing even close to that happens, so it's not a spoiler. If you haven't seen this movie, SEE IT!

Damn it, that's from the rough cut!
I was actually thinking of the rough cut through out most of the movie. Namely... THE MOTHER SNAKE!!!

[quote="Tebor"]I was actually thinking of the rough cut through out most of the movie. had a "mother" snake of sorts. No boss battle though.
I find it ironic that Ronny Yu was fired from the project for insisting that it had to be R movie instead of PG-13, and then the producers were eventually shamed into makingR anyway. David Ellis isn't bad, but the Ronny Yu version of SOAP would have been unfathomably awesome.
What other movies that have been positively effected by internet feedback? The only one I can think of is Attack of the Clones where George Lucas was forced to edit out an N'Sync cameo because it was a fucking stupid idea and Star Wars fans didn't want to see it.

Hell yeah, Formula 51 style with some Freddy vs. Jason gimmicks. And of course The Bride With White Hair class.
Knowing who the audience is now, New Line NEEDS to make a sequel.

Bah?? That's impossibly stupid. Similarly, though, fan outrage at Jar-Jar made Lucas marginalize his role in the sequel, relegating him to merely causing the destruction of the whole fucking republic.

For internet feedback having a positive role, though it's not out yet, the "Batman Begins" sequel probably counts. Enough people starting ragging on Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes in general, especially online, that she was basically "uninvited" to the next film.
And, for "Star Wars", the fact that we're getting the "original" original trilogy at all is most likely correlated to the sheer number of people signing the petition at originaltrilogy.com, et cetera. And, to a lesser extent, the amount of online "piracy" out there was said to be a factor in why we got the SW DVD's two years ago. They wanted to undermine the numbe of laserdisc rips floating around the net.

Thus, they decided now to give us their OWN laserdisc rip, rather than cleaning up an original print.
But I guess that rant is for a topic not related to motherfucking snakes on a motherfucking plane.
EDIT: Incidentally, anyone else got that Cobra Starship song stuck in their head?

I was totally expecting sam to fight that boa constrictor with that knife he found.
the asian guy yelling HI YAH! when he grabbed the snake out of the air was funny.

If they realized the real potential of the film while they were filming, the above scene would've happened for sure.

I do. It's a fairly annoying song, like "London Bridge" by the Black-Eyed Peas, but it's still stuck in my head.

Oy. Anybody here ever heard of the production company called The Asylum? They specialize in making ultra-crappy low-budget movies that are NOT other, more popular Hollywood movies. Such highlights include Pirates of Treasure Island (NOT Pirates of the Caribbean), 666: The Child (NOT The Omen), and The Da Vinci Treasure (NOT... well, just guess).
Their newest masterpiece? Snakes on a Train. Yeah...
