Title once again is what I'm asking. Theres some instruments we have played, theres some we haven't and we're here to discuss the ones you would love to learn and play. For me I would love to learn how to play an Accordion.

Actually, I'd absolutely love to learn how to play the sitar. That thing is mad dangerous. It's got, like, a friggin' million frets and tuning machines and everything, but it sounds awesome. Until then, I'll settle for a ukelele.

I'd like to learn the Violin, keyboards/piano, and the berimbau (an instrument used in a few Sepultura songs.) A couple of weeks ago, I'd have said drums, but I've just started learning them (thanks to Rock Band on Expert.) I already play bass, and have no real desire to play electric guitar.

HEY THE ACCORDION IS NOT GAY!!111
I can play guitar, enough bass to pretend like I have a bass player on demos, and I thoroughly enjoy slapping bongos, tables, desks, asses, whatever I can get a sound out of so I've always wanted to learn the drums. Also it would be baddass if I could play the keyboard or the piano.

Well, I'd like to play the piano. Sure, I play a synth now and again but I don't play well. I can only perform basic melodies, because I don't quite have the co-ordination to do a melody and background music simultaneously.

That is a myth. Only chicks who play the guitar dig guys who play the guitar, and only sometimes. You'd have better luck scoring by playing piano instead -- that's how Ben Folds gets all his groupies.

Walrus presents a good point- chicks who play guitar don't get bored when you talk about it. Sometimes they can be real bitches though. But that's not to say guitarists don't bring in a good number of nightly fucks.

I can play the piano...barely. I've been working on that and so far my progress has been crap. One of my friends likes to play guitar while I play piano and every time I screw up I autonominously start over and it screws him up too...I'm trying desperately not to suck, and so far it's not working.

The trick with any instrument (imo) is to not start over when you mess up, try to get back where you're supposed to be on the fretboard / keyboard etc instead of starting over.

I'm not saying this to sound pompus, because I truly have a point here. I have played the piano for 20 years now, and I'm pretty damn good (not a concert pianist by any means). The piano teaches you a lot of fundamentals of music, such as the ability to read both clefs and coordinate your left and right hand, as well as many of the not so unique things to the piano you pickup about music in general. That being said, I never felt that any instrument was out of the question with a good amount of practice, but I have always wanted to play the drums because drummers abilities to move all limbs independently, sometimes at completely diffferent rythms amazes me, and i admire the amount of coordination required to do that. You use a foot pedal with the piano, but its in conjunction with your hands, not independent usually.

I just started learning the piano recently and its great. I love how versatile and quick to learn it is. I'm still a beginner though but I now have a keyboard so I can practise all the time now, .

I'm currently learning how to play an acoustic electric guitar. Videos soon.
I really, really want to learn how to play the pan flute. Pan flutes sound so beautiful.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.
Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.
