I agree kick ass song
Sometime if I am having a Party I sneak it into the playlist, see if anyone notices.
A buddy of mine has been known to make lime green jello shots, and serve them with this song playing.

Yeah, its a good song, but he clearly ripped off Huey Lewis' "I want a new drug" (which was turned into "I want a new duck" on Weird Al's Dare To Be Stupid album (one of his worst)), and both of those musicians are way better than Ray Parker Jr.
Good song, though.

I loooove this song! (I have the video on my computer.)
Actually, one night I had a great time with this song... it involved me singing along to this song in a bar, then suddenly having the urge to puke right there and then on the bar floor, and looking up and seeing a sort-of friend laughing his butt off at me. We ended up becoming better friends that night and grabbed a stack of newspapers and delivered them to random houses, calling ourselves the 'Newspaper Bandit'. It was a lot of fun.

Ironically, in the 1984 World Series, this song was called Goosebusters, because the Detroit Tigers beat up on the San Diego Padres' relief pitcher Goose Gossage to win the World Series in five games.
