I've decided that the kid fainting at the Spelling Bee was fake. Unless he just got nervous and lightheaded and stumbled, I think it was fake. I've always seen clips of him falling, but this is the first time I've seen the whole clip. After he hits the ground, he just hops right back up and promptly spells the word.
