Hey Paul!

I'll just take a wild guess and say there are two of their songs that make you think of a different movie.

Back to the Future!

Back to the Future:

"The Power of Love"
"Johnny B. Goode."

well if we've gone to Cusack mode, might as well mention Van Halen's 'Everybody Wants Some!!' and Better Off Dead.

"Everything I Do (I Do For You)" always makes me think of Robin: Prince of Thieves.

And the crappy muzak station we have at work always plays it.

"Borderline" reminds me of Vanilla Sky.

And of course, "Feed My Frankenstein" = Wayne's World.

Rock N Roll Hoochie Koo by Rick Derringer, School's Out by Alice Cooper, Jim Dandy by Black Oak Arkansas, Tush by ZZ Top, Fox on the Run by the Sweet, Cherry Bomb by The Runaways, Stranglehold by Ted Nugent, Tuesday's Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Paranoid by Black Sabbath, and Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith all remind me of Dazed and Confused.

You left off the best song in the whole movie. Slow Ride by Foghat.

Hurrican - Bob Dylan
Lowrider - War
No More Mr Niceguy - Alice Cooper
Rock & Roll All Nite - KISS
Love Hurts - Nazareth

all also remind me of Dazed and Confused. Probably my favorite soundtrack ever (though Rocky IV is up there too).

Idiot. I was trying to memorize the entire soundtrack song listing (with the addition of Sweet Emotion, the opening song), so in reality:

Rock N Roll Hoochie Koo- Rick Derringer
School's Out-Alice Cooper
Slow Ride- Foghat
Jim Dandy- Black Oak Arkansas
Tush- ZZ Top
Love Hurts- Nazareth
Fox On The Run- The Sweet
Cherry Bomb- The Runaways
Stranglehold- Ted Nugent
Tuesday's Gone- Lynyrd Skynyrd
Low Rider- War
Paranoid-Black Sabbath
Rock n Roll All Night- KISS
and Sweet Emotion- Aerosmith

all remind me of Dazed and Confused Very Happy

Tuesday's Gone also reminds me of Happy Gilmore

Fuck the Police reminds me of: Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

Speaking of Kevin Smith movies: "Run's House" (the song not the show) reminds me of Dogma, the scene where Matt Damon, just having shot the unfaithful husband, gets out of the greyhound bus and goes "Who's house? ... Run's House!", much to Ben Affleck's annoyance. That's priceless.
