For some reason, I just never got Guns and Roses. I've always disliked high-pitched vocals, and Slash's style just gets old on my nerves after a while. Not bashing your tastes, I understand why people like them, but just not for me. |
No, I get it. I know a lot of people, actually, who like that style of music, just not GNR. But for me personally, they're in a three way tie for my favorite band ever.

I don't really like GnR myself, actually.

It's nice to see a GNR fan that doesn't lose his or her mind when I say I don't like them. Pretty rare.
As for my favorite cover, I'd say out of the eight million versions of "What a Wonderful World," Joey Ramone did it just as good as Louie Armstrong. Hell, it might even be better. I love saying that in a coffee shop when i know people are listening to me and my friends talking just to get glared at by every hipster in the room.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

Well, I like almost every kind of music (almost), and most people don't. So I really don't care what other people think. Whatever they listen to, I probably like it too. Besides, my all time favorite movie is Real Men. So I'm not sure I have a lot of room to criticize other peoples interests.

I agree that the GNR version of Live and Let Die is better than the Wings one, even though the Wings one is kickass.
How about "Crossroads" by Cream?

Crossroads is spectacular
What A Wonderful World is amazing
The guitar solos in Knockin On Heaven's Door are what make that cover so brilliant.
And yeah, I'm a gigantic huge GNR fan since before I was born (seriously), but I can understand why some people don't like em.
And yeah, Spaghetti Incident? is a great album.
