Same here more or less.

Sometimes I use other music for things like NHL 08.

Common Rider's first album is great for .skate, No Cash is pretty fun for black (I love how the xbox version allowed soundtracks), and I love some good Celtic folk songs for Oblivion or Morrowind.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

When doom came out on shareware I used to always have Nirvana's Bleach cd running in the drive with doom running off the hard drive, so know whenver I hear any of those songs I think of shooting demons with a shotgun. Smile

I'm listening to Van Halen's 'MCMLXXXIV' (1984) and playing San Andreas. It fits.

Does anybody here have a Ross Rifle?

I've been playing a lot of dynasty warriors :gundam lately, and I've noticed that music from ace combat fits a lot better than the actual in game music.

Ah, good thread, good thread....well, let's see, for me, it's usually any good metal, since the games I play usually involve combat of some sort. Then when the fighting stops, I'll throw on something slower. Basically, I like music that gets me pumped/psyched, in the mood to play.

I want you all to repeat after me:

I like to listen to "Ace of Spades" on loop while playing Windows Solitaire. I usually do this for at least 5 hours each day.

The only time it is good to listen ti music while playing any game is if the song goes good with the game.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

I usually listen to the game's music itself. You never know when you might find one that has an incredible soundtrack, like Advent Rising, and hey, hard to top Soul Caliber's sweeping epic pieces.

Or if it's like every late 90's game and uses the edited version of "Dragula." But seriously, folks.

I usually do listen to the game's music, but sometimes you just get tired of it. I'm already sick of the music in Mass Effect, so I have SModcast rolling along side. However, the other night I played a playlist of Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VIII while playing it. It went together surprisingly well. Confused
