I am not ashamed to admit that I love that band.
I just think it's funny that the music from silent hill and phil collins somehow translates into manowar and alien ant farm.

I only really got last.fm so I could learn stupid facts about the bands I'm listening to while I listen to them. makes for great conversational material.

well most things like amazon and last fm do the people who like these same 5 things often have this other 6th thing. pandora is more scientific. they break down songs scientifically by tempe chords time signatures even what key its in. and then they recomend bands and songs that are similar.

i just went to the website and the first song since im always logged in was disturbed believe.
alot of times i raise my eyebrows at the stuff they suggest but more often then not i end up liking it.

yahoo launchcast is the same as amazon.com and apparently the same as last.fm. it recommends music based on your other likes. and based on popular opinion of course.

Yeah, Pandora is kinda nuts.. i remember hearing about it a long while ago, and thought I would ruin their shit, so I put in the Locust, and sure enough, they had an answer, and it was mostly stuff I liked.
