As a sequel to my discussion of the pacing of Bay's Transformers i would like to bring up another thing i noticed after seeing it a second time. (i'm not linking to this discussion, that' a SydLexian No no, it's in the movie section if your curious)

I listened to the credits in full and anticipated hearing the remake of the original transformers theme from the old school movie. It never came. Although the best song i heard during the credits was Disturbed's This Moment.

So i check on wiki for some info and found that Mute Math's version of the transformers theme is "Used in the special feature disk" (i saw Bay's Transformers on cable) and a good portion of the soundtrack is not even featured in the film.

Some of those songs are good but the rest is garbage. If i had to buy something music related to the movie, I'd get the score soundtrack, at least the scores in Transformers are kick ass.

I have yet to hear this Mute Math's version, is it any good?

a lyricless edit, you me a Karaoke version or prohaps an instrumental one? I've been trying to find a lyricless edit of Heroine by Velvet Underground. Yah Reed's lyircs are good but i would like to hear a lyricless version.

It's not as bad as i thought it would be. I still got chill, for some reason. The song would have been more kick ass if they replaced that stupid techno accordion thing with some guitar riffs. I can almost see how the fate of this song when down:

Bay: Hmmm . . . yeah i don't like it and i know nothing about transformers. The fans of this shit are going to vomit when they hear this and i want them to be as oblivious to my ignorance of transformers as possible. Tell you what, scratch the idea of even putting this in the credits . . . put it on the special edit dvd or whatever they're going to crap out to the masses.
