I went to Rock the Bells last year when it had an even better lineup. Fuckin Rage Against the Machine and Wu-Tang headlined it. Cypress Hill, Nas, The Roots, Public Enemy, EPMD, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, Immortal Technique, MF Doom, Brother Ali, Sage Francis, Murs, Slug, Jedi Mind Tricks, Living Legends, and Cage were all there too, plus more. It was an incredible experience, best concert I've ever been to. I may go again this year, even though there's no way it can live up.

I hate RATM with a passion but other than that, those line-ups are tight.

yeah, im not gonna lie, that other lineup seems badass too. especially w/EPMD + MF Doom.
this years lineup seems better only cause it has Tribe + De La Soul. two of my favorite hip hop groups (besides outkast) ever.

Everytime they have one of those huge super-concerts like that, they never bring it to the city you want it to go to.

Obviously lol.
I couldn't go anyway, because I've already broken myself with tickets for Maiden and Cruefest, and I'm probably gonna go see Priest too. And I want to try catching Alice Cooper in September...

Rock the Bells always great, what's with the Hatred of Rage Against the Machine though. I know some people aren't crazy about their sound, and I get that if it is a style choice, but damn. I love Rage, Big Zach, Tom Morello is the man in whatever he does (Audioslave, The Weatherman, solo).
