My wife is currently using the TV to watch talk show crap.
I would be enjoying some quality brawl time, but instead I am making this thread about the crap that kills the bulb in my DLP TV.

Damn, Jon Stewart isn't an option?
Colbert isn't - and shouldn't - be on there, because he's playing a character. An AWESOME character.
The late great Morton Downey Jr. would be a good poll choice too. Or the long since cancelled Sally Jesse Raphael. Not sure if either of them are still on TV, but Don Imus and Howard Stern are both egotistical pricks too.

Here is why I didn't include some of these people:
* Nothing on Comedy Central really belongs on this list. Other adjectives are appropriate, but self absorbed doesn't really fit them.
* List is only of people who are active & alive.
* List is only of TV hosts. Stern would probably be #1 by a long shot if radio were included.

I'm voting Limbaugh, but it's a tough call between him and Uncle Bill.
Rush is a grandly self-richeous prick. My favorite part about him is the ammount of time he spends deriding drug users when he himself is a bit of a junkie. He refered to Kurt Kobain (not that I'm a Nirvana fan, mind you) "just another dead doper" a few months before he entered rehab for painkiller addiction.
That is the definition of self-absorbed.

And it was on E!
Listen, he is full of himself, and he is sure as hell proud to say it, but does he belong on a list of TV talk show hosts who are full of themselves?

Kathie Lee... is she still alive? I haven't heard anything about her in years. If she is doing a talk show, it isn't one that matters. I am counting her as dead and therefore ineligible.
Edit: Also, I never thought she was full of herself. I always thought she was just really dumb.

Yeah. He also said once that Black people can't function in civilized society without whites to guide them along, right after Katrina hit.
He says a lot of stupid bullshit.
He's a radio guy, but still...he's a self absorbed talk show host anyway...just not in the traditional sense of the term. If we're sticking with strait TV, I vote Bill O'Reiley
