We've had a lot of talk about McCain et al. in recent weeks, so I figure why not ask a question that cuts to the chase...

If the election were held today and the field consisted of the "major" candidates listed above (I know there will be one Democrat and one Repub... humor me), who would you vote for?

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

Rudy has my support. I can settle with McCain or Thompson though if they get the GOP nomination. I still have issues with McCain, and Thompson seems dead too often, but is livening up lately.

So far the votes seem reasonable. If I had to pick a republican, I'd go with McCain or Rudy.

But, I really need to put my support for a democrat, and Obama is my guy.

I'll vote for any Democrat who gets nominated, but I don't like Edwards or Hilary, so Obama's got my vote. (And I'll be old enough to vote on Election Day.)
Also, as far as Republicans go, I'd support McCain if I had to vote Republican.

I'd never vote democrat, since I've never seen one run on anything other than "I'm going to"s that never pan out, or the "we're not evil republicans!" ticket.

On the flipside, no republican this time seems like a good choice either. The only thing I've heard that I like is Huckabee saying he'd get rid of the anchor baby law (it makes a big difference in CA, dunno about elsewhere), but I think he's a bigass phony too.

Nader in 08?
