I was a big fan of coheed til the pulled that shitty overcharge shit for a basic cd. Thumbs down.

Demonoid is down. But i used to support coheed going to shows buying albums because they were a band i enjoyed. But with their latest album you only get the complete album if you pay for the mucho expensive deluxe super edition limited collector version. If you just wanna buy the basic album you get a cd in a paper sleeve, no book no plastic case just a little folded sleeve. and that was for 17 bucks. Same thing with the pumpkins album. I wanted to buy it just to hear it but it turns out the tracks were scattered on diff versions. If you bought it from best buy you got certain tracks, if you got it at itunes same thing etc etc. I just wanted the Zeitgeist album but im not gonna pay 60 bucks.

well I couldn't find a great picture response for the word "Torrents".

I didn't even know coheed had a new album until last night, and just torrented it.

I did buy the pumpkins album, so I can tell you you're wrong on that part. they were all the same CD with the exception of one bonus track per store, so buying the cd in one spot and then buying the individual songs off of itunes would be the smart thing to do, if you go the "support my band" route. otherwise you could just downlaod a torrent with all of the songs in one package.

If it was 1 or two bonus tracks that wouldnt be bad but they released 7 diff albums. plus the positioning of songs is diff for every album pretty much. Its just confusing as hell and as a long time pumpkins fan it sorta feels like a betrayal.

well I'm far from a long time pumpkins fan, but I suppose there's no crim in buying one of the albums and then downloading the rest.
