I noticed this show is rerunning on ESPN Classic. I hate watching most everything on ESPN, but here's a program that I can root for again.
This also led me to find out NBC is making a new "American Gladiators". Casting is happening this month. Details.
Sadly, I will not be entering.

They need to revived Mike Adamle (sp) and Larry Czonka. I'm skeptical but look forward to potential for the show as I still love watching AG re-runs.

Just a moment to reflect on the many great female gladiators they had on (especially Siren). I hope NBC keeps things respectable.

Rico Constantino is a contestant in one of the big tournaments in, I think, 1990-1991. We won a main tournament, but then lost the Grand Championship to some douchebag by a few seconds in the Eliminator. Rico was badass, and was also the first contestant to defeat Gemini in Joust.
Dammit! I want to watch some AG right now!

First show is on January 6th. And watching the promos has made me even more stoked about it.

If Ninja Warrior didn't exist, I totally would be. But after watching Makoto Nagano destroy those courses, a guy shooting tennis balls at a guy shooting foam rockets seems less cool. Even with the Hulkster's involvement.
But if they replaces Hogan with the Ultimate Warrior for commentary, I can safely say it would be the greatest piece of television ever created.
