Not bad, it defently feels like a Christmas song. Really refreshing to hear something different then 'white Christmas' and 'Rudolf the red nose Reindeer'
The ending sucked, poor kid.
more on christmas shoes
Or is there a duel purpose for this post? Apparently this song got into this book 'I Hate Myself and Want to Die: The 52 Most Depressing Songs You've Ever Heard' by Tom Reynolds and . . .
Okay i'm reading way too much into this . . .

God, I love Patton Oswalt. Has anyone heard Werewolves and Lollipops? Hilarious.

The song was a bit less depressing than A Charlie Brown Christmas, but I love Patton Oswald. I remember the first time I saw him: I was home sick with bronchitis, and I was watching Comedy Central. One of his specials came on, and I said "Hey, it's that guy who played Spence on King of Queens. This should be OK." I then laughed my ass off for an hour.

Oswalt even came to my college months ago and i had a chance to see him, but i forgot to buy a ticket. I wish i did because that was priceless, why could Spence have been this bad ass at least once.
And I'm surprised this didn't make the '12 worst christmas songs list' because the music itself isn't bad but the lyrics are depressing as hell. I will not argue with the choices on the list though.

I think the cheesiness of this song has blinded us to the fact that the name of this band is NewSong. Who names their band NewSong? What the hell?

Maybe they were inspired by Nuclear Assault's "New Song". Or they're retarded. That works too.
And Patton Oswalt wins, every time.
