There's some story about how his dismissal from WWF in 1994 centered around Macho trying to insert his erect penis in one then-possibly underaged Stephanie McMahon. Whether that is true or not, I don't know, but I look at it this way:

1. WWF is unafraid to milk damn near anything, and Vince even suggested that SMH's baby be introduced as the product of incest in a storyline.

2. Macho Man is rarely even shown on WWE clip montages and I don't remember the last time he was mentioned on-air.

3. Vince has blocked Jakks Pacific from releasing a Macho Man figure/figures in their Classic Superstars line, making him the biggest name to not appear in the line yet.

4. Macho Man has an interview for his website on youtube, which is from a couple of years ago, where he does his usual anti-Hogan shtick, but also calls out HHH and says he's going to steal HHH's girlfriend.

So... SOMETHING happened that seems to have completely burned his bridges with Vince, but I've never seen any news or interviews or anything to cite specifics.

Savage is featured on WWE 24/7 though, so the situation can't be all bad.

Hogan and Savage had wanted to work a grudge match for WM20, but Vince shot it down saying that no one wanted to see the old guys anymore. Then he brought in Hogan anyway.

I was doing a little googling and several places say "Randy Savage" is a dirty word around Vince, and even the mere mention of him pisses Vince off. It kind of adds up, though. Macho is a multi-time World Champ in both WWF and WCW, and was in some of the biggest feuds ever, yet there's no Macho Man dvds or any cameos ever, etc. Why isn't he in HoF, for example?

There's no mention of Vince hating Macho Man on Macho's Wikipedia page. This is strange because Wikipedia is usually full of gossip and such.

A lot of the wrestling pages got combed through awhile ago for rumors, etc. Warrior's page is like 1/3 of what it once was, lengthwise.

I found a page that suggests it's because Vince had wanted to keep Savage as a longterm commentator, but he jumped ship to WCW for more money and the chance to wrestle full-time again.

I suppose that could be true, but Vince has forgiven guys like Hogan, Piper, and Nash who jumped to the WCW.

At the same time, I find it hard to believe that Vince wouldn't have pressed charges if Savage engaged in relations with his daughter. Or, you know, killed Savage. Vince doesn't take shit like that from people.

But around the time Macho Man left WWF, they were still reeling from the steroid trial. Could be that Macho Man had dirt that could've sent Vince to prison, so they kind of just agreed not to snitch each other out.

^ the above is a total tinhat theory, but who knows. :p

From what I've found, supposedly the point of contention is that Savage was still under contract when he first jumped to WCW and he didn't even bother to tell Vince he was leaving.

The story goes that they were getting ready to tape RAW and Vince asked where Randy was and someone told him to check WCW. He considered it a major betrayal and never forgave him. It's possible Vince started the Stephanie rumor himself to embarass Macho Man.

There's also a variant of the story where it was Jack Tunney's daughter Rachael that Macho Man had sexual congress with.

The WCW thing is inconsistent with the times he's been held up/walked out on by other people who've shown up again. Warrior, Jarrett, etc. There's gotta be more to it, or else they would've discussed it either on Confidential when it still aired, or on a DVD.

I mean, they were willing to knowingly face a lawsuit from Warrior with the Self-Destruction dvd, and originally had planned to call the Bret DVD set "Screwed! The Bret Hart Story" or something to that effect, so they're not against smearing a guy publicly.

Maybe we'll only find out when they're both dead.

Well, Warrior was fired during his first run as fallout from the steroid trial.

And Jarrett will never work in the WWF again, not that he wants to. He severely screwed over Vince with the whole No Mercy '99 incident.

Warrior left the first time after a holdup at Summerslam 91. The second time was late 92 when he and Davey were fingered as roidboys before the steroid trial. The third time was just Warrior insanity. But that's 3x.

Jarrett left in 95 and 99, both times under bad circumstances.

But both guys got second chances. Macho's never had a second chance.

IT IS A CONSPIRACY, SYD. Laughing

So now they have Trish relisted as appearing at RAW XV.

Hogan
Austin
Foley
Trish
Lita
Hitman (possible? I think via satellite, maybe)

Evolution "reunion"

And Sunny?!

I saw wow. If I were to see Sunny and Bret both make their first RAW live appearances in years on the same episode, that'd really be something.

Oh my god, Mick Foley is going to be there!?!?!? Holy shit.

Oh wait, Mick Foley will do pretty much anything for money. Nevermind.

I want to see Al Snow, dammit.

I remember Foley's original thing was that he wanted to retire and retire once, so that he didn't tarnish his legacy or whatever. How many times has he been back now, fifteen?

Something like that, yes. But his comebacks did lead to one of the best televised matches ever: Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley's book.

Also, it's a litte known fact that Mick Foley's promo style is a complete rip-off of early Randy Savage:

I fucking love the Macho Man.

Best RAW in at least 6 years.

Watching Khali sell Hogan's punches was priceless.

I like how Hogan said anything was possible tonight and then did the Macho Man's "Oh yeaaaah!". But then he rolled his eyes. That would have been badass if Mach showed up. I don't forsee it happening in the next hour though. Then again, Skinner showed up. And Molly Holly.

I was actually pretty pleased with RAW despite the lack of Bret. I need the XV DVD when it drops.

I caught some of it in between Monday Night Football, and thoroughly enjoyed Ted Dibiase winning that battle royale.

Sting has currently turned down all new contract offers with TNA, and appears to be done with the company.

There was some early rumors regarding WWE trying to get Sting to wrestle Ric Flair for Ric Flair's retirement match at Wrestlemania a few months ago, but nothing has surfaced since. However, due to this new info regarding Sting, that match could become a reality.

Personally, I think this would be awesome from an old school standpoint, as Flair/Sting was one of the greast rivalries of all time. This would be a perfect send off for Flair. However most younger fans would probably find the match extremely boring as both stars are not exactly high-flyers or intense powerhouses, and their match would more that likely be more traditional.

This is just me talking off the top of my head. However, at this point, the match COULD become a reality.

Thoughts?

If it was the final match for both guys, that'd be something. Plus if that was Sting's only WWE match ever, it'd keep them from doing the usual silliness with ex-WCW guys, so he could leave without a sour taste in his mouth.

Personally I don't see it unless HBK and DiBiase go to work bigtime on pushing Sting into it, due to his religious conflicts with some WWE content, but I'd definitely like to see it one last time.

I don't think Sting will got to the WWE. He's never been interested before I don't see why he would be now. Only reason he'd go to WWE is for a title run, and I doubt they'd give him it. If he's done with TNA, he'll probably just retire. I'd rather see a Sting/Undertaker feud anyway.

Also, I haven't seen the Sting story on LordsOfPain yet.

Also, what the fuck is wrong with Hornswoggle's face? Is he scarred or something? Do they rub dirt on his face?

Latest word is that Sting has agreed to a one year contract extension and will stay with TNA.

Also, Christoper Daniels was escorted from ringside during a match and TNA's website is saying he's been released. No word yet on whether or not it's kayfabe. I would imagine it is, because Daniels is one of their top talents.
