So I can buy a 360. I know Halo 3 is badass, and I watched a Gears of War tourny on GameSpot. That game looks fucking amazing.

Yeah, Burnout is fantastic. Don't think you can still get the Best Buy car though.

I have Burnout Revenge for my PS2, so I won't be buying that one. Although I do have the John Madden van (thanks to my brother for being a Madden addict!).

I had it on x box, then said the same thing.

when I played it on 360 I ate those words. it's not jsut a graphical update, they fixed a lot of bugs and made improvements.

I would never buy a burnout game on PS2 because teh music is so terrible, and not having custom soundtracks would hurt me.

Yeah, custom soundtracks would rule. Besides the one song by Apocalyptica (which is still pretty weak), the soundtrack sucked ass. Also, is there music in multiplayer now?

Well, you should be happy to hear that they are coming out w/new 360 bundles soon. From 1up.com:

Well...Gears is coming out on PC with 5 new chapters...I'd recommend getting it on PC if your comp can handle it. Otherwise, look forward to future overheating problems with a 360. I'm glad I sold mine. I heard it red ringed in three quadrants on normal usage. Go Microsoft! However, if you are 100% sure you need a 360...say screw microsoft and get higher flow fans to keep the console cooled off a bit more.

When I had mine, the games I played most were Crackdown, Test Drive Unlimited, and Ridge Racer 6. If the XBLA version of SotN had allowed for button-mapping, that would've been the main thing I played.

Oh, yeah, forgot about Crackdown.

And I'll probably get Gears on both platforms. Also, Microsoft has made some design revisions to the 360 to fix the overheating, and I plan to replace the thermal paste on the one I get with some good paste, as well as get extra cooling fans. But my friend Chance has had his for two years with no problems, besides a broken controller (that was his fault for throwing it down on a concrete basement floor).

Microsoft is giving holiday buyers both Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance with every Xbox 360 console and Xbox 360 Elite, a retail savings of $90.

The bundled 360 will cost the same as regular 360s ($349.99 for Xbox 360 and $449.99 for Xbox 360 Elite).

Both bundles will be available by the end of October.

Gears was good enough I'm going to get it on PC too. That game kicks extreme ass.

If the 360 dies, remember, they fix it for free at least. Although with the new CPU (and soon new GPU) I don't think there going to die as much.
