Let's have a "Metal Band Survivor Game". NOTE: I got this idea from Encyclopedia Metallum's forums, rules are basically copied-and-pasted.
The rules are simple:
Here is how it works... each band has 10 points to it; and you, as the participant in this game must do the following:

You VOTE, and this is how one vote is defined:
1) Add one point to your favorite band.
2) Subtract one point from your least favorite band.

After you vote, you must post the score/tally that results after you vote.

Rules:
1) Once an band has 0 points, you must automatically delete it from the list, and it may not be voted on after that.
2) You may vote a maximum of twice a day. Your vote may be the same or not.

If you choose to exercise both of your votes at the same time, that means that your votes could look like any of the following:

+1 Band A
-1 Band B

+2 Band A
-1 Band B
-1 Band C

+1 Band A
+1 Band B
-2 Band C

+1 Band A
+1 Band B
-1 Band C
-1 Band D

3) In the event that an apparent "stalemate" occurs: A constant number of points will be deducted daily from each band . That number of points will be equal to half the number of points of the band with the lowest score. So, if the band with the lowest score currently has 10 points, all remaining bands will be deducted 5 points each.

4) If an erroneous vote is cast, it will be nullified

5) If a wrong point total/tally is posted, kindly to try to correct it. If not, I'll try my best to keep the tallies correct. If the tally is wrong such that it has obvious repercussions on the succeeding votes, then the point tally will be corrected as if that vote was never cast.

6) Finally, the last band remaining, wins!

Fixed to include my points (in post one). I edited my first post to take one point from Trivium and one point from Deicide. Also, in retrospect, I should have added Finntroll. But I didn't, so tough.
