Besides, watching Orton punt Cena's head like he was Bobby Knight punting a basketball could possibly rank in my all-time favorite moments, if done properly.

The WWE is in the midst of what is known as a "Code Hogan", wherein the company's talent pool is so shallow that Vince decides to let one guy run with the belt for a couple of years. Of course, when Hogan had his long ass title runs, the company actually had a damn good talent pool.
