I would feel better if they stop taping 2 episodes at a time, a month in advance of the air dates. They need to either run thier shows live, or at least tape them no more than a few days in advance, ala Smackdown and ECW.
The problem is that all the hardcore fans like myself go online, read the taping results the day they are taped, and if the show is mediorce or worse, skip watching it when it airs. If it is running live, then we have to watch to know what is going to happen. It may take more work to run a live show, but it makes for far better ratings. People also like to think that because it is live, that something unexpected could happen.

You would think TNA would know that live tapings work better. One of the all-time greatest moments in wrestling history was when Nitro was live and RAW was pretaped 1-4 weeks in advance, and Bischoff would get ahold of the RAW results and read them on the air. This culminated with a clean cut Rick Rude appearing live on Nitro while a bearded Rick Rude appeared on a pretaped RAW.
But a two hour timeslot is obviously a good thing. TNA has more talent than they have time and hopefully this will help them fix that.

It'll be good if they don't fill their 80-90 minutes of airtime with 75 minutes of an Angle blowjob every week. I've only caught TNA twice in the last two months or so, and both times he was on the air just standing there and shit for longer spans than some dudes had for their matches.
Give us some matches and don't rely solely on the old WWE has-beens to shoulder the load, plz.

Angle and Christian aren't has-beens. And if they are, they're better than never-will-bes like Orton and Khali.

I'll give you Christian, but Angle peaked some time ago. Tomko/Steiners/Dudleys/etc... I'd rather see their original talent than watch RAW on a different night, is all.

Yeah, the Dudleys suck now. And Tomko was never good. And Raven is in awful shape.
But I'm a huge mark for the Steiners.

I'm ok with using one WWE guy to put a TNA guy over, like Angle/Lethal, but I just don't want them to sign a bunch of old WWE releases and then have stuff like Angle/RVD instead of having Angle rub one guy, and RVD another.
I wonder how many, if any, of the recent WWE releases will surface in TNA.

Probably quite a few. With the exception of a few of the top TNA stars, TNA contracts are open, pay per appearancc contracts. Basically, they state that the wrestler gets paid on a per appearace basis, and they are free to accept outside independant bookings that don't conflict with TNA's schedules.
It's a smart way to do business, as it gives them access to lots of talent, without having to waste tons of money per year on people who don't do anything.
FUN FACT:
Lanny Poffo (aka The Genius, "Leaping" Lanny, Macho Man's Brother.) signed a $750,000 a year WCW contract in 1995, but he was never used. He sat at home and collected a free paycheck for 4 years.

It's not THAT smart, as it also gives the WWE the ability to raid their talent and it doesn't build up trust in the locker room. ECW tried something similar in the 90s, and then Eric Bischoff raped their locker room of most of its best talent. That's around the time that Heyman decided to form an alliance with McMahon. WCW also lost Meng/Haku to the WWF while he was holding the hardcore belt because WCW was dumb enough to put a belt on a per-appearance guy.
TNA lost Sabu to the WWE because he wasn't under a proper contract, and it turned out being terrible for both parties. TNA lost a great talent, while Sabu was poorly used in WWE's shitty ECW relaunch and basically got a big paycheck to do nothing. Hmmm... I guess things worked out well for Sabu after all. Another interesting thing is that Christian was never fired from the WWE. He specifically opted to join TNA when his WWE contract was up because he was sick of being stuck in the midcard. Meanwhile, the WWE fired Rhino/Rhyno for an embarassing backstage incident and then tried to rehire him when they hired Sabu for the ECW relaunch. Rhino responded by tearing up the WWE contract on Impact.
And again, I don't think Angle is washed up. Did he peak already? Absolutely. But Flair and Hogan peaked in the 80s and that hasn't stopped them from being big draws since then. Angle is a guy who represents everything the WWE really needs right now - a guy who's good on the mic, a guy who can wrestle, and a guy who's a fantastic worker and will work through injuries. In essence, he does everything Triple H does. And speaking of "washed up", HHH is another guy whose best years are behind him. HBK too. But hell, they're still some of the best workers in the industry.

The next huge name to croak, who looks like he magically put on about 30 lbs of muscle between his WWE exit and his TNA arrival? He could do super moves like RAW on Genesis and they don't need that...
