Can you say Gobbledygooker 2.0?
Can you say wasted storyline?
Can you say wrestling's equivalent of the 32X?
For fuck's sake.

Hey, the 32X at least had Knuckles Chaotix.
I don't think I've been this disappointed since the WWF first launched Smackdown and revealed that the "higher power" that the Undertaker answered to was Vince McMahon, thus paving the way for the shortlived Corporate Ministry.
Some people are running damage control like "Blame Kennedy, if he didn't get suspended this wouldn't have happened" or whatever, but even if it's just a filler gag until Kennedy comes back, this was a big disappointment.
Seeing King Kong Bundy fuck a midget up was funny. Watching Doink tote one to the ring was not. Watching one hug Vince's leg just made me shut the TV off.

Why was Mighty not Sonic? Lousy spinoff crossover rules...

Well, as you may or may not know, Knuckles Chaotix was originally developed as a Sonic & Tails game. The intended name is unknown, but the development names were Sonic Crackers and Sonic Studium and a rough demo exists.
It is believed that Sonic & Tails were going to appear in Knuckes Chaotix as unlockable characters but never made it in due to time constraints... which is weird, because there were definitely completed sprite sets for each character.
In fact, the 'alternate' routes you could take in sonic & knuckles were a lot better than most of the new games that feature alternate routes. I cant think of any right now, but I know i've seen them advertised w/'alternate storylines' or some BS like that.
