I love Final Fantasy, and I'm not going to get into the X and X-2 characters.... but one I will mention is Selphie from FFVIII. She annoyed the shit out of me... mainly because of her hair-don't.

Someone else I know really hated Selphie, but I don't see why. Then again, everyone in FFVIII reminded me of someone I knew at that time in my life. Except, I still know Selphies. 
But I don't see that hairstyle as often: true.

I liked selphie alot actually. I have a thing for innocent ditzes with cute hairstyles.
plus she was god damn useful with her limit break.

The more the reason to hate him.
ToS-wise, Zelos and Kratos were both muuuch better characters. Especially Zelos, since he was fucking hilarious.
Also, every other main character from every other Tales game is cooler than Lloyd.

Welcome and Mystery Quest did in fact suck big fat old monkey balls. I remember selling it at a garage sale to my friends sister for $5 and then after she walked away I laughed to myself and said "Sucker".

Yeah I ended up purchasing an old nes2 and a box of games for forty bucks during an outbreak of maniacal nostalgia, and that game was unfortunately included.
Said box also contained that Snoopy's Sports game and just about every other horrible game you could think of.

I thought Mystery Quest was OK. Not a great game, but it's at least playable, which more than I can say for games like Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Total Recall, Predator, and the aforementioned Snoopy's Silly Sports.

Agree to Disagree I guess, I hated Mystery Quest with a passion, I would rather play Cliffhanger or Skull & Crossbones, which I have earlier stated my distaste for, on constant repeat regardless of what I do rather than start up a game of Mystery Quest.

There should have been a level where you play as charlie trying to kick the ball, but instead you kick lucy in the face for years of abusive football snatchng, if you can punt her ass farther than the kite eating tree, you win!

I would rank Cloud on that list instead of Tidus due to the fact that Cloud is such a failure that he has a mental breakdown, starts pretending he's someone else, and makes me hate not only Final Fantasy, but every game in the genre. What other character is so terrible as to make one reject an entire genre due to how awful he is?
