Well, yes and no.
He's not going to die or anything. He has this:

He has nerve damage in his legs and feet, resulting in numbness. His legs still work, but he can't feel them, which makes it near impossible for him to walk. He's been limping around for months now and I assumed it was just his gout, but apparently not. And he knew it wasn't, and rather than seeking treatment, he just let his condition deteriorate to the point where he can't walk. So now he's at the hospital for physical therapy for God knows how long.

And in the interest of staying on topic, Mario Strikers Charged really is pretty frustrating at times and Diddy Kong seriously is a total prick in the game.

I have nothing specific against Diddy Kong as a character, but he's super cheap in Strikers. You have to beat him to win the second cup and his arena does this weird thing where it randomly kidnaps 2-3 players on each team during the lineups. On top of that Diddy has a movie called Red Card that removes all players in a 5 foot radius of him from the game until someone scores a goal. Thus it's possible to get stuck with no one put your goalie on the field and the only way to get your guys back is to let him score.

Yeah. She was fine, a neighbor found her. She got hit walking home from school right outside our neighborhood. She has a broken leg, but other than that she looks pretty OK. The ambulance just took her away.

Well, I think that we'd only sue for the medical damages, so I'm still going to have to earn that on my own. Anyway, I just got info from my dad. Turns out only her ankle is broken, but it's pretty bad. They might have to take her to the children's hospital in Kansas City to get her leg looked at.

Syd, this whole thread seems like it was created because Diddy Kong kicked your ass. But I still fucking hate him. I don't know if I'm going to get it because I don't really want a soccer game and I've never been a fan of the Mario themed sports games. Well, golf was fun for awhile. And sorry about everyone's family members.

And yeah, the thread was indeed started cuz Diddy Kong kicked my ass. Once I finally beat him, I unlock him as a captain though, and then I can cheese my way to victory with his annoying speed and super move.

Char: Too bad it wasn't a Budweiser truck. I had a co-worker years ago who got hit in a crosswalk by a beer truck. His laywer went to sue, and after about 9 months, Busweiser settled with him out of court for $750,000.
I hope your respective family members get well soon.
