So, as you may or may not know, I installed phpBB 2.0.17 when I launched the forums and then never updated it after that, other than some mods I found.

I assumed at the time - erroneously - that PHP was just a markup code like HTML and that it was evergreen.

This is not the case. PHP is subject to constant updates and those updates sometimes break all or parts of the forums.

I have decided to see what should be done about this: if it possible to manually fix any existing problems with the forums, or if I should try and upgrade.

I really don't like the idea of upgrading. I tried it once before, but duplicating the aesthetic of these boards to a level I find satisfactory is going to be near impossible.

So, what currently doesn't work properly on the forums?

You are correct, that seems to be broken. Happens with search results too. Only the first page works.

What did the NES tag do? I have zero recollection of ever having a dice tag. Seems unnecessary.

I've noticed the "More" button doesn't seem to work at all either.

The green dividers don't show up on my PC on Opera or Chrome for some reason. They show up on Chrome and Opera GX on my iPhone. I wonder if it's a browser error or a security setting.
