Nitpick: The picture that isn't Char's style is from Warhammer 40k, not Gundam. Makes sense.

Armada was alright
Energon was so-so
Cybertron is a piece of crap where half the characters suddenly picked up Australian and British voices.

It’s been known for a while that Cartoon Network will be releasing an all new Transformers animated series set to air in 2008.

Well, it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would be, but only time will tell. One thing is for sure though, that animation style does not fit Transformers.

I caught five minutes of an episode of Transformers Animated before work on Monday. That was all I needed to see.

IT IS FUCKING AWFUL.

The animation sucks, the writing sucks, and the voice acting is surprisingly underwhelming.

I don't think the story line is completely terrible, it is one that from watching, albeit while hung over and having gotten up only to watch Ben 10, that it is episode by episode, some are great, others suck a giant elephant melvic cock, that's right I said it. Anywho, art is mostly bad, my biggest complaint is that they don't have the transforming noise, and that they may look anywhere from good, not great, but good, to pretty shitty, but can look good in either robot mode or vehicle, but the transformation process is horrific looking. They need way better writers, and a 50% retooling of the art.

After watching this i realized that their is a God and he is a cruel SOB. I mean, it looks awful, the transformers are either bulimic or over weight, there's no middle ground and some look freaking ridiculous. I'm just glad they didn't show any of the human enemies as stated they would have month ago. But truly this is the end, Bay's movie was the dawn of the end and now this new 'Transformers' is the high noon of the end. I would like to say something good, but the fact that bumblebee has the face shield proves that Bay's movie had more of an influence then the old school show which is a total crock. And did the audience laugh at one point?

They did a lot of other cool anime openings/closings/insert songs particularly for mecha shows like this and others: (though I think they did something for BlazBlue too, one of the theme songs)
