PS4 launching for $399, 100 bucks cheaper than XBOX One. Sucks to be Microsoft right now, especially since Sony shat on them with regards to showing off games and support to indie devs.

The PS Eye will cost an additional $60. It is unclear how much you will "need" it. But if Sony aggressively pushes Eye support, then PS4 is really $460, which is only $40 cheaper. If they aggressively push Vita as a PS4 controller, then that's another $250 you have to pay. Or maybe only $200, assuming there's a price cut.
I don't see that being very likely. Developers won't get behind a product and work it into their titles unless they're convinced that people are going to own it en masse. Any time they make a game whose functions are prohibitive to half the people owning the system, it simply means that it won't sell.

If they plan on using the integrating the Vita as much as they are saying right now I am glad I adopted it early. Looks like Microsoft is done for the next gen already.

I hate microsofts wording, they seem to present the information like they are being generious by "allowing" us to play all of our own games on our account or whatever. I was dissapointed by there $500 price tag. I understand it's partly because every system comes with connect, but I really couldn't care a whole lot less about having a kinect. The lending games to friends thing isn't as big of a deal to me as I don't game a ton when I go to friends house, and when I do, the games we play are usually ones we both already own.
Having it be mandatory to connect to the internet once every 24 hours is a annoyingfor me as I currently don't have my 360 hooked up to the internet because (as far as I know) my box doesn't have wi-fi and having chords laying around the house is a bitch.
If this PS Eye thing isn't pretty much mandatory, I can definitely see myself getting the PS4 not too too long after release as that seems pretty solid for a next gen console.

Microsoft is doing a great job promoting the PS4 and Wii U. I thought it would be funny to see Microsoft implode, but it's starting to get sad actually.

Someone presented the theory that it's actually a Sony person using guerrilla tactics. Either way, it's gotta suck for that guy's reputation.

If it is Sony, that's pretty smart. But it definitely seems like something Microsoft would pull.

I don't see any reason for Sony to do this. They were content to administer the beatdown at E3. Going this far is just kicking them while they're down, at least more than they already have. It might just be a collective of internet Microsoft diehards who organized this independently.
Whoever is responsible for those people, they were doing it at the wrong place and the wrong time.

Honestly, i wouldnt even take the Xbox One for free. My internet connection doesnt work flawless and i would probably get super pissed waiting 15 minutes to just getting a game to start.
It's a little mean to say but i hope MS fails hard with this.

I don't think it's that mean. Hell, I'm rooting for it to fail too. I want this to be such a crushing defeat for Microsoft that it sets this march toward DRM on hardware back several years. I want Sony to triumph specifically because they allowed freer use of their hardware. If MS takes a big enough body blow here, it could potentially show tech companies of all kinds that the way to consumer hearts (and subsequently, wallets) is by lifting restrictions rather than imposing them.
I may be getting a little optimistic, but if a company like Sony can create a successful business path by offering freer use of its products, and draw consumers because of that freedom, there will be imitators.

The most perplexing thing about the Xbox One is that they put all this shit in it, and they just expected us to be okay with it all.
Like no used games? Did they seriously think that shit would fly and no one would question it? They have designed a total trainwreck.
They are seriously delusional if they think consumers will just give in and accept what they are proposing. It's definitely a good thing that consumers are now standing up to corporations and saying, no, we won't accept the shit you are pulling like it is some way acceptable.
We control them by purchasing products from them, if we stop buying from them then they fail. It's not the other way around: they design a product and expect us to dance along to their tune.

There's already one person who's showing support for this system...
"A lot of potential in it" he says... Seriously...

There is a lot of potential in it, no normal person would disagree with that. Unfortunately, that potential is being squandered by the system having shitty and unnecessary capabilities and policies that favor retailers over consumers. Simple as that.

Yeah, potential to be one of the biggest piece of shit failures in the entire history of gaming.
