Nobody else here likes this console? PS4 is going to be cheaper than Xbone. The online service will include free AAA games. People are free to play used copies of games. People will be able to play Playstation Home, a social game that I'm constantly addicted to. Here is to Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15 as well. I'm looking forward to this generation.

ps4 vs xbox one, i choose ps4
$100 cheaper. online service is $10 cheaper & you get way more free games than xbox one, and better deals w/that PS+ service. region free. no BS behind the used game market crap. yeah, ps4 is the one i will choose.
i will eventually buy an xbox one, once a killer IP for it comes out. which, i cant think of any off the top of my head.

Pretty sure they already announced no on backwards compatibility. At least on physical games.

that is correct. backwards compatibility by streaming thru the PSN. im not entirely sure on all the details, but thats what they mentioned.

Yeah if I buy a console next gen it is going to be the PS4. I already hated the 360 because my launch one had to be replaced constantly thanks to their shitty quality control so I was leaning against buying the new Xbox. This announced shit with the One has basically guaranteed I won't even consider buying one. If Microsoft is still in the console market a year or two from now I'll be surprised, this new Xbox is going to sink their gaming division. They are going to lose some serious money on this and with the damage Windows 8 is doing they might struggle enough that some real competition can gain a foothold.

Definitely getting the PS4. No backwards compatibility doesn't really hurt since I don't plan on trading in my PS3, WAY to much stuff downloaded to it as of now.

I am not even sure if i will buy any of the new consoles. The PS3 did not really do it for me. The games seemed to have lost their magic. My favorite genre is also classic turn based RPG's, wich is a dying one. So if i buy a new console it will be the Vita, solely for Persona 4: Golden.

a 1.5 year old boy is a huge responsibility, but once they get to 2 years old, they are so much fun to hang around with.
