Maybe we've all been dead this entire time but we cling so much to nostalgia that our souls can't move on to the other side.

I love how I rally to get news into it's own section, and right after that news slows down, and some clown assumes the board is dying. makes me look like an idiot.

A forum's only as healthy as its main page. Let's fix this.

It's like with Schroedingers cat. It's dead and alive at the same time. Though the likeliness that if you open the box, that you find a dead forum, has risen in the past months.
@Syd: New article on the way?

I check this site daily from work. Some days there are new things to read that are interesting.....some times there aren't. That's why I frequent a lot of different forums online.
For the record, this one is the best for all the video game/pop culture topics.

I have the same habit of visiting multiple boards. About 6 actually.
Sydlexia will always be my favorite board though.

Gonna try. I have about 10 articles in various stages of finished. Some are just rough outlines, one has been about 70% done forever.
Writing is hard. It's hard to find the time for it, and it's hard to organize the thoughts in my head into words that you'll want to read. It's also frustrating, because sometimes I think I have an idea, but then it turns out that I have like four good jokes and there's not enough of an idea to build it into something substantive. And I'll die before I do BuzzFeed style garbage.

You ever gonna do fun with search engines again? I always enjoyed those, in fact I think I'm off to read them again.

Perhaps we should devise a plan to raise money for the website, maybe half a million or even a million. Then maybe Syd would be able to put all his energy into it and we could all revel in the new content. How can we raise that much money you might ask? I say we worry about the finer details later.

Very good, sir. Best of luck assorting your ideas into literary goodness.

All the forumers have to meet in one small- to medium-sized town and simultaneously rob every bank. The local police force cannot allocate enough resources to stopping all of us in time. Some of us may be caught, but that's the price that must be paid for pop culture.

Well, in that case we'll have to go somewhere other than my town. Here in smalltown Mississippi all the banks carry are fruits and vegatables.
I say we start a ponzi scheme.

Any type of progress report for those 10 articles? It would be wonderful if you could put out one per week and breathe a good 3 months of life back into this place.
I watched Big Lebowski for the first time in a while and was reminded of my Topless Robot Tittyfucking article for the wiki. I'm still damn proud of that.
