Did anyone here ever play the original on the Genesis or SNES? I've only watched it via the GameCenter CX episode.

YES YES YES. i played the original on the genesis when it was on the sega channel and it was an awesome game back then.
the remake looks cool. i hope the gameplay still holds up.

Out of this World is actually unrelated to Flashback, other than having similar art styles and the same publisher.

they do have Another World 20th anniversary edition on steam and it was recently part of a humble bundle

It would be pretty neat if Out of This World got the same treatment.
Has anyone played the Flashback sequel on PSone, Fade to Black? I've never played it but have always wanted to.

I got the SNES version of Flashback for my 10th birthday. I played it constantly, what a great game. I am very excited for the remake, although I'm worried how it will hold up now with the newer audiences.
Fade to Black for the PS1 was terrible. I rented it years ago with high hopes but it was a clunky mess.
