Well, I just had the pop-scare of my life in the Warden's Office. Jesus. Not to mention the surprising plot reveal about:
[SPOILER:6527553ddf] The Automatons possibly being human-driven. I only guessed because of all of the masks in the prison, then seeing an assembly plant in Comstock's airship. Only speculation on my part, but damned if it wasn't creepy. [/SPOILER:6527553ddf]

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

[SPOILER:b789c48619] Walking around that weird prison/asylum, there were those somewhat-dead people wearing the Founding Fathers masks. The masks were all over the place there, too. Then I went into that secret area on Comstock's ship to find those same masks in an assembly situation right next to completed automatons. I might be wrong, but it seems possible [/SPOILER:b789c48619].

[SPOILER:e1bfc26128]You find a voxophone from Finks talking about building these robot/human hybrids (like the handymen) and how it requires a human as a base, all this right next to a diagram of Songbird, leading you to believe Songbird is human inside. So it's not a stretch to think the same thing for The Patriots. It heavily, heavily implies it.[/SPOILER:e1bfc26128]
Also:
[SPOILER:e1bfc26128]Fink admits to using tears to essentially steal music and technology from the future. There is a Voxophone that leads me to believe that the songbird is essentially stolen from Big Daddy technology, which would explain its insane desire to protect Elizabeth (its little sister). Far out theory, but that's the fun part.[/SPOILER:e1bfc26128][/SPOILER]

Finished it last night, and the ending rocked so hard. It was nice to a see a game that put so much work into producing a memorable ending sequence that makes everything else worth it. I only wish that last little combat arena lasted longer, because it was so incredibly fun.
Another thing I've seen that's equal parts infuriating and funny is the collection of Stupid Gamer Opinions that this game receives. Apparently Elizabeth needs bigger boobs, plus a romance option (lets you know who finished the game), there needs to be more cutscenes because the "story sucks", and about a thousand people aren't going to play "another boring shooter." I almost ripped out my own eyes when one gamer was whining about all of the "country songs," in the game. I guess it would have tickled his neckbeard better if there was more WUB WUB dub and bass like every other game these days.

How fucking badass was that? I just barely finished that last fight without losing my "escort" target. It had virtually no health left. And it was about my dozenth attempt at it. The whole thing, from the badass indoor fights to
[SPOILER:fced151108]taking on the entire Vox at the very end[/SPOILER:fced151108]
was just stupid awesome. And I loved the ending. I had heard a lot of hype and it really lived up to it.
As to your other comment, that's why I take user reviews on any critical website with a grain of salt. Anyone who honestly gives Bioshock Infinite a 0/10 doesn't have a good enough appreciate of art to deserve an opinion.

Since I haven't heard a single person say anything like that, and the fact that it all sounds so stereotypical, I can either assume you're exaggerating or that you frequent some of the worst fucking ass awful places on the internet.

Metacritic has some pretty absurd user reviews up right now.

Because even after all of this time, I still scroll down to comments sections.

More like BioShock: BoringShit. No, to be honest, the story's decent, I like the art style, the shooting is just easy as fuck and repetitive. Literally none of the choices offered to you be they weapons nor clothing articles nor vigors make the game even slightly interesting to me.

He's got a point when it comes to game mechanics. I never felt like I was doing anything new or different. Story? That's a whole other ball game.

See, I've been replaying it in the last few days, and this time around, I put a lot more emphasis on the vigors and less on the one or two weapons I played through the last game with. It was almost like I didn't "get" how to play it the first time, and I feel like I'm having a whole new experience.
I also though the game was harder than hell...but that probably has something to do with my previous approach.

Playing on Hard mode, I found the entire game trivially easy. I plan to hit up 1999 mode sooner or later.

There was a big debate pre-release about the size of Elizabeths breasts and the way she looked. A bunch of people were up in arms because she looked too buxxom, and I think they reduced her size a little.

Yeah, she had kind of this over-sexualized gothy steampunk look at first. I'm glad they settled with what they did as far as her design goes.
