I was antisocial and had anger issues. Needless to say, I don't remember the 90's being all that great. Definitely liked playing the SNES and Sega Genesis though.

I was a kid in the 90s. My family was well, school was hell, but hanging out with my neighborhood friends was awesome. I was mostly a Nintendo kid that played SNES, N64, and Game Boy, but I did have the Genesis and Game Gear too.

I vividly remember there being at least three times as many record stores in the St. Louis area as there are now. There was one called Streetside Records, whose front and interior were decorated like a giant jukebox with long strips of neon lights that lined the front doors and the walls, as well as huge wall-spanning windows, and the walls inside and outside as well as the floors were all black. It looked absolutely magnificent at night.

I came to post memories of recess, outdoor activities, and Surge. Very glad to see my representatives have already covered all such elements!

I remember WCW pushing Surge hardcore when it came out. Surge and Jolt were my preferred sodas of the 90's.

Video games, cartoons, movies, music and the economy were all just plain better in the 90's. School was a bitch, but I do have some fond memories of it.

Nowadays, everything sucks: corporate greed that's gone out of control, lawyers, people pointing fingers at each other, and a shitty economy. About the only things I like about the present are computers, internet, Youtube and Netflix.

This. Also, the people who are using the 90's as some wish to be a kid again are doing it wrong. You don't love the 90's, you just hate responsibility.

There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.

In fairness to the internet's recent fixation with 90s, at least I understand dubstep now. My generation just really misses dial-up.

The Red Wings won two Stanley Cups in a row during the 90s. It was a great time to be a Red Wings fan.

Ah....the 90's...braided leather belts, In Living Color on FOX, and Street Fighter Tournaments on the weekends, fueled by Taco Bell. Rancid also released "...And Out Come the Wolves" in 1995. This is hands down my favorite album of all time.

This was when the Red Wings and Avalanche had the peak of their rivalry. I miss those days too. Go Wings!
