I honestly think Uggs are pretty ugly as shoes go, pun not intended. They always look so bulky and awful. Sometimes they look okay when girls wear them with miniskirts, but a lot of girls like to wear them with leggings, which is probably the most revolting "style" on the entire planet. Also, black uggs are the worst. They look like giant velcro monsters.

It seems like every time I go to a mall, I see four or five women wearing these atrocities, and the plague needs to be stopped at all costs.

What's up with people complaining about other people's clothing? You aren't wearing it, so what's the problem?

This thread isn't in the right spot, it should be in the Fashion Forum.

Just saying.

Yeah Cam I feel the same way. Every time I see anyone wearing these I wonder if they know how terrible they look. At least around here it is mostly younger girls, like 14-22 years old, who probably don't know any better than to wear these atrocities with jeans or leggings. Most older women seem to know how ugly these things are and wear real boots that don't look like shit.

It's actually funny you should make a post on them because I was talking to a friend about this exact subject the other day and asking her why the hell anyone would wear these things and she couldn't give me an answer.

He is seeing them. That is the problem.

Well those shoes are not popular in good ol europe town so i have not really a problem with them. In can't really understand why they are even popular, it's not like they look terrible but they are far from being stylish or anything.

I'm not surprised this is a Cam thread.

My shoes are awesome and comfortable.

One of my roommates got a pair of Uggs last week. I have been making fun of her every day since that she has worn them.

Awesome.

Honestly the only thing I can think of that is nearly as bad as wearing Uggs, that is "in fashion" right now, is those stupid over-sized sunglasses that seem to cover half the face. I don't know if they are designed like that or the women buying them don't realize they are way too big for their face but god damn are they hideous. It's like alien eyes or something. I can't take anyone wearing those or Uggs seriously and certainly not when they are combined. It is all I can do to not laugh, might as well be wearing dress socks with sandals.

I also find it really odd that non-prescription glasses (not sunglasses, just glasses) have become so in-"style". Especially those giant, black, thick-rimmed, nerdy Buddy Holly glasses. I used to be indifferent to them, but now I see them so often that I've become more than alienated; I'll be glad if I never have to see them again.
