Woodzy can attest to my adamant fear/fascination with deep water so underwater gets my vote. My thing is that even though I know a lot about aquatic life in general and at least a little about pretty much every type of animal in the sea, I'm still scared shitless of being floating in the middle of nowhere in deep water. And not fear of drowning or even of logical sea creatures that might kill me like sharks, but just the thought of floating there (or diving, etc) and seeing some massive thing come gliding out of the murk towards me in an element that is not at all my home turf. I guess it's largely more psychological than the fear of actual giant sea creatures, but I would be having heart attacks from encounters with completely harmless but big things like Sun Fish and Whale Sharks. Or even actual whales.
