There is a potentially immortal squid living in the sea. It can switch between his Young-State, that one near to his birth, and his Old-state, the fully grown one, morphing his whole cell-structure back and forward in time. If not through a force inflicted death, it could live forever.

The iconic tumbleweed you see rolling in the westerns is not native to the North America. It's imported from Siberia.

Starfish are in a similar vein. I don't remember the exact details, but I learned in advanced biology that their anatomy allows them to live indefinitely. Something to do with their ability to regenerate limbs.

In the Middle Ages animals were tried and publicly executed. Birds, wolves, insects, were all tried by ecclesiastical courts as witches and heretics, and suffered excommunication, torture and death. The last such trial took place in 1740, when a French judge found a cow guilty of sorcery and ordered it hanged by the neck until dead. In 1386 at Falaise a judge ordered a pig to have its legs mutilated and then be hanged for killing a little girl. The pig was dressed up in the child's jacket and dragged to the town square with all the ceremony due a first-rate criminal. The execution, it is recorded, cost 6 sous plus a pair of gloves for the executioner so that he might carry out the killing with clean hands.

If you add .LOG as the first line to a notepad document and save it windows will auto-append the date and time to that document and then start it on a new line the next time you open it

My battery has 6% power and is about to die.

Also, Acesulfame potassium (Ace K) is in most whey protein supplements as a sweetener. Amongst artificial sweeteners, it is one that has one of the worst reputations, yet they still keep putting it in. There are only a few alternative whey protein supplements that can be purchased without it, and they are almost all extremely expensive.

lol, good site.

In ancient japan it was a beauty-ideal for women to blacken their teeth. The samurais are also the inventors of the toothbrush, using small sticks wrapped in fabric on top to clean there teeth.

Ok, enough tooth related knowledge about the ancient japanese for today.

New Zealand has sea snakes, but none on land and Hawaii has one native snake, the island blind snake, although it is very small and often mistaken for a worm (it's not much larger than a US 25 cent coin).

St. Patrick eliminated slavery in Ireland, and was the first person that we know of in history to argue that slavery as an institution was a moral wrong within society.

More than one in a hundred American adults are in jail.

1 in 30 men aged 20 to 34 are in jail.

For black males of same age group it is 1 in 9.

There are more 17 year old black people in jail than in college.

25% of all prisoners in the world are Americans.

...and that's why they call the United States of America the "land of the FREE"

I've had it with your America bashing. As soon as I get out of jail, I'm flying out to Ireland to kick your ass.
