The previous owner of my house used to have poorly treated cats that peed everywhere. We ripped up the floors, cleaned the vents, and painted the walls... still on a hot day... gross.
Until that smell is 100% gone, I won't have cat pictures, because I won't have a cat.

Sometimes I'm sure this is how my dad feels. And yet they still own four cats, because my mother is weird.

I feel the same way about dogs, plus they slobber all over you and require more care. It's been said millions of times before, but cats have a cool, "I don't care" attitude. Plus, they're very independent, doing their own thing, which isn't needy at all.
I love all animals though....the ones I'm not allergic to anyway, and especially the ones that taste good. Mmmmm, veal....
