Yeah I saw it too. The fact that he's still alive is the most surprising part, to me. |
I just looked them up and my god. That's fucking crazy.

this story is kind of related:

When a man threatened to hurt himself in New Jersey on Sunday, police rushed to the scene. But police had to watch out – while they were trying to help the man, they became targets for his rage. The man began throwing his own skin and intestines at the cops.
Police were contacted at 10 pm on Sunday night by someone saying that Wayne Carter, 43, had a knife and was threatening to hurt himself.
When police arrived at Carter’s home, they forced themselves into the door, which was barricaded with furniture, according to Lieutenant John Heinemann.
When Carter saw the cops, he began yelling at them and stabbing himself all over his body. Heinemann said that Carter’s intestines were hanging out of a wound in his abdomen. As the police tried to get further into the room, Carter began throwing his skin and intestines at them.
Carter was commanded to drop the 12-inch kitchen knife, but instead swung it at police. The officers tried to subdue him by spraying two cans of pepper spray, but there was no effect.
The officers called the Bergen County SWAT team, and they took Carter to the Hackensack University Medical Center.
Carter underwent emergency surgery and remained in critical condition. According to Heinemann, Carter had a history of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and psychotic episodes. |

Wait, that happened in China.
Where exactly did the outbreak start in the Resident Evil films, again?

I'm sorry, I came in around Afterlife, with the Asian woman or something.

Have you played any of the games? The outbreak started in the same city.

I've played the beginning of zero (train), and a few bits of five, but none of them all the way through. I never understood that it was a survival horror game until I sat myself down to watch a playthrough of RE1 a few months ago. So I get that it started in Raccoon City in the games, but I didn't know if it was a different story in the movies or not.
