I was just wondering how people are comfortable sleeping. Independent research, this that this that whathaveyou.
Personally, I sleep mostly on my side, which doctors say is the healthiest way to sleep. However, I'm sure some of you would say fuck you I'm sleeping how I want. Sometimes I do that and sleep on my stomach. Did you know stomach sleeping is addictive and also the least healthy way to sleep? Well, unless maybe you try to sleep upside down like a bat.

Most of the time I sleep on my side, unless its really hot, then it's either stomach or back to spread out and let my fan cool me down. Regardless of the temperature, I sleep with a fan on my face.

Usually on my side, sometimes on my stomach when I feel like it. Never on my back unless I just want to relax a bit, because I can't fall asleep that way.
I also don't use pillows. I either just place my head directly on the bed, on my arms, or on a makeshift pillow made of some of my sheets folded together in some way.

If I lay on my back I will sometimes fold my arm up behind my head under my pillow, then in the morning when I wake up I will freak out for a second and flail my arms around knocking shit over cause I can't feel them lol

I remember another thread like this, but whatever.
I sleep on my side. Sleeping on my stomach is uncomfortable for me, and I figured out (just last night) that sleeping on my back makes it physically impossible for me to sleep properly.
Also, my head is usually propped up on two pillows, and my upper torso on one. They must be soft.

I tend to fall asleep laying on my side with my head on the pillows but I'll wake up periodically throughout the night in any number of positions. Plus since my pillows tend to fall off the bed, due to how the room is arranged, I may or may not even use a pillow substituting my arms instead.

Every five minutes I rotate by ninety degrees to the next surface, alternating between back, left side, stomach, and right side, making a full rotation every twenty minutes.
I have trouble sleeping.

I don't, really. Been an insomniac for years and it's really pretty normal for me to sleep only about 4 to 8 hours over the course of a couple days. I bet that I spend 24-36 strait hours up at least once a week.
That said, when I do sleep, it's on my side with my arm under the pillow.

I usually sleep on my stomach, with my left arm tucked under my torso/left leg, and my right arm cradling a pillow (with my upper arm on top of the pillow and my forearm tucked underneath), and my head facing right. I didn't start doing the arm-tucking thing until FigNewton suggested it.

Okay, I really sleep with one pillow, a fan blowing directly on my body and the TV on. I must have something going on in the background. I absolutely CANNOT sleep in complete silence.

I used to have it bad. Went around 3 or 4 days sometimes, until, as I put it one time, "My eyes see stuff, but I stop seeing."
