Well, the Dragon Warrior run has finally ended, and I must admit I am a bit disappointed, as I was really enjoying it.
I knew he wasn't going to last much longer when he encountered that first skeleton.

I got the feeling he was getting tired of it near the end, but I liked it while it lasted.

About running in DW 1, it always seemed to me that I had more success running away if I held down the arrow key opposite the direction I was moving when I triggered an encounter at the same time I pressed A on RUN. Conversely, it seemed to succeedmake less if I held the d-pad in the same direction I was moving when the encounter happened.

I believe it. It's entirely possible that inputs at any time ingame prompt the random number generator and give new results, that's the kind of stuff TAS'ers get down to a precise science.
