Also I took advantage of Final Fantasy I's glitch where you could fight much more powerful enemies on the peninsula northeast of Provoka. I always built my levels up there in preparation for the marsh cave.
I don't know if it was ever patched/revised but in the original commercial build of King's Quest VI, Hole in the Wall was VERY buggy and would cause the game to crash if you tried to interact it with many parts of the scenery.
In King's Quest V, the labyrinth had a bug where you could run up at least one of the walls... which would then crash the game.
I just hit a weird one playing FF7 the other day. Either I'm very lucky, or I hit a glitch where Tifa was only scoring critical hits between Cosmo Canyon and when you get the Tiny Bronco.
So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

What about glitches that make the game way easier? Like the one in Dark Cloud that maxes out your weapons.

The GBA version of Final Fantasy has an awesome glitch dubbed the Psycho Edward glitch.
Edward has an ability called Hide. When he runs low on HP, he "hides". This renders him immune to attacks and magic (including healing spells), but he is invulnerable to attacks. He will remain in this state until he somehow recovers HP or all other party members swoon. When he's hiding, Edward still gets a turn, but he's hiding, so you can't do anything. That is, unless you Berserked him. If Edward is Berserked before he goes into hiding, he will continue to attack every turn. So you can turn him into an invincible dude who attacks every turn. Not a bad deal.
Stumbled upon this one when I started making gameplay videos of Mega Man X2 and X3:

By dashing and then shooting uncharged X-Buster shots, the first that comes out does more damage than when not dashing. Specifically, in X & X2 only, this shot does 2 damage to bosses, rather than the normal 1 (this does not hold true against a couple bosses in X2, or against X3 bosses except the intro boss which takes 4 instead of 3). The technique works as long as you are in some type of dash movement, including jumping after dashing, and dashing off a ledge.
For the two other people who have played the original Gears of War's multiplayer, you probably remember kung-fu flipping. Essentially, it was a specialized input that, in conjunction with the fair amount of lag normally found in the game, caused your character to fly upward. This was interesting in that there is no vertical jump command in the game, so you could play around on the maps. Unfortunately, most people abused it to escape maps and generally be assholes.

Don't get me started on FF1's glitches, guys...
Start, by all means. I'd love to know if you've found anything that I haven't
