Well, I got Skyward Sword (Limited Edition) for the Christmas, and have now played a bit of it. The game is awesome for the most part, but the sword controls can be painful at times. They need calibration all the time. Also, it seems to only un-calibrate when I am actually trying to swing my sword at stuff, and not when I deliberately try to un-calibrate it by swinging the Wiimote madly. Oh, and that Stamina meter thingy gets in the way of sword-fighting all the time.

You will get better at playing the game. I promise. It takes some time, but you'll find that you start to lock, and make choices about becoming agressive or backing off based on your stamina. Also, how wildly are you swinging the sword? Try wrist motion rather than full arm chops.

After several weeks of being busy, I finally beat the game the night before Christmas Eve. I also unlocked Hero Mode.

Also, is it me, or did Demise remind anybody of Akuma?[/SPOILER:f95f3e344b]

[SPOILER:c40d8ea5ec]He looked like a cross between Lobo and Akuma to me at first glance. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is probably the closest thing to a final battle in Hell that we've gotten in a Nintendo game.[/SPOILER:c40d8ea5ec]

At what point were you able to go for it.
Also, I appreciate everyone who has been using spoiler tags.
I am currently working on getting the first flame for the sword.

Trying to keep the spoilers out of this
During the main campaign you'll get offered a contest by a big guy in yellow that you save.
