I am going skydiving with a couple of friends during the day and then picking up a cheesecake that comes from a place right near where we are planning to land. Then I am going to eat an entire cheesecake to myself.
Merry Christmas to all and also Happy Hanukkah to the Jewish forum members. Hail Satan! to the Satanists, Blessed Yule to the pagans and so on and so forth.

That was the original plan, but I decided I would not have enough time to enjoy the cheesecake.

I got a netbook for Christmas among other things. Which means I can write while watching TV and write on my lunchbreak at work. I still plan on getting a desktop, but this will also be helpful.

I was watching A Christmas Carol on TBS last night and the cable system issued an EAS alert for a child abduction. I didn't know they could alarm for that.

My mom went a big wild with panda stuff as her theme, so I got a panda blanket, panda hat, panda slippers, panda calendar, stuffed panda, and... the Kung Fu Panda DVD. lol. okay.
But on the techie side of things, I also got a 2TB (!) external hard drive and Alice: Madness Returns, both of which I have been hoping for.

I'm just hanging out with family, exchanging small gifts and having a pleasant dinner. I haven't gotten my gifts yet but I might post when I do.

I mostly just went and hung out with my Mom and brother for a little while and did the whole present thing. We played the hell out of Forza 4 which my brother got and then watched True Grit which I got.
All together I got:
DVD 8-pack of the Harry Potter movies
True Grit (Combo Blu ray/DVD/digital)
Brand new 6 quart crock pot with a keep warm setting and some liners for it so I don't have to use my ancient one that looks about 40 years old when making roasts.

I got a 3DS with Super Mario 3D Land and its version of Sonic Generations (working on the latter), as well as The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Kirby's Return To Dream Land. In the way of retogaming, I got and finished Mega Man Xtreme yesterday and expect the second game in two or three days. I also got a book of Mega Man art and a Sonic statue, as well as a homemade candy apple in Kirby's image from my brother's girlfriend's sister.
