Getting it done at a salon is $81. The kit is less than $20. I survived a conch piercing (as in, giant 12 gauge needle going through the middle of your ear). I think I can take this.  I will be interested to see if the results can compare to a salon, though.

That's what I'm interested in as well. I've tried waxing other areas at home to a miserable failure so I think the sixty dollars extra may be worth it.

Oh man, my roommates have a set of Bucky Balls (ha!) each, and they're pretty awesome. We spent far too much time trying to make spheres and pyramids with them.

Still trying to reconstruct the original 5x5x5 cube it came in. Epic failure on all accounts. Haven't tried a pyramid yet.

Also, I got a box in the mail today. In the box...
There was no note. For the record, I about wet myself with glee. This is hands down my most favorite book series and I'm very excited to actually be starting a collection of it. Secret Santa, whoever you are, you are /boss/.
