I agree with everyone. That top 10 list should have at least 30 games on it.

but Blood? I loved Blood, but Top 10 ever? Fuck no. Also, the PC version of SimCity is boring as fuck. .

What am i reading!?

Also why is DN3D not there? :S It should probably be over Blood. Blood still deserves to be on the list though.

The problem with these lists are they are never long enough and they never have what everyone wants.

It's easy to forget that it's the greatest games and not games you like a lot. Even if you dislike a game it can still be considered a great game. Though WCII should be on the list as well.

..and why 2 FPS? It should probably have more to be honest, perhaps with a longer list. Was this not the era were FPS pretty much came into proper existence? It makes sense that there is two on the list but like has been said Blood perhaps not so much.

All build engine games should be on it, Monkey Island as well, Sam & Max, Police Quest, Kings Quest, Leisure Suit Larry?

Leisure Suit Larry did nothing for the genre. It was a gross Sierra Adventure game, and the only games to follow in it's foot steps were other Leisure Suit Larry games.

1. Leisure Suit Larry, at least the first two, weren't gross. They were funny and aimed at a slightly older audience. But King's Quest is the premiere Sierra series, and I'd probably pick either KQ5 or KQ6, even though they were offered for Windows AND DOS.
2. Meet And Fuck games are Flash, not DOS.

One of the first things you can do in the game is fuck a prostitute and get a venereal disease. Of course you'll die, but that's just not funny. It's gross, even to a 12 year old. I was just saying that they were gross, adult versions of already established genres and have no business on the list.

There is just to many great dos-games to make a decent list, however here is mine with emphasis on the games that I enjoyed more than the groundbreaking ones like Doom:

10. King's Quest VI
9. Age of Empires
8. Syndicate
7. Broken Sword
6. Dune II
5. Transport Tycoon Deluxe
4. Full Throttle
3. Sim City 2000
2. Monkey Island 2
1. Civilization

Your list is solid, but I don't believe Age of Empires was a DOS game.

You are right, I just checked, it is indeed not a dos game. Seems like my memory pulled a trick on me. Well, move all the games up and enter Colonization then.

Actually, you can't fuck the prostitute right away. You need to get remote control from the homeless guy so you can get past the pimp. Also, you can fuck the prostitute and not die, if you get a condom at the convenience store.

Grand Theft Auto was a DOS game. I know because the only way you could get your 3dfx voodoo to work its magic was to run it in DOS mode. Dunno if it should be on the list, but I think it's an interesting tidbit.
