I put out an APB on facebook that I was looking to buy games since I have a small buy/sell/trade business on the side. My wife's cousin's boyfriend called me up saying that he had a bunch of games that he was looking to unload. He brought them out to a family party we went to today. I offered to pay him, and he refused money. All I have to do to pay him back is take him hunting on my parents' land, which is something I would have done anyway.

I think it's leftover from my childhood of seeing all of those boxes of games on the EB/Babbage's game shelves that I could never have, but whenever I see those boxes, I get all curious and I just want to read them and buy whatever game it is.

Most of them had manuals and the plastic dust covers. All the games are very clean.

Good Work! Now before you resell you must do me one big favor. If you have a scanner please scan some of those boxes and put them up over at the www.thecoverproject.net
Here is a guide on how to upload them, http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=1305.0 with your help my homeless SNES games may someday find a UGC home!

I can see a few there that are not on that site. Great haul, man Samsho and World Heroes; I'm jealous!

Nooooo not another one of those threads. Why can I never stumble upon a goldmine like this?

PS: Congrats with an AWESOME hunt, I could not make out all the games, but looks like a very decent collection!

Arcade's Revenge was great. It's Doomsday Warrior that needs to burn in perpetuity.

Agreed! Arcades Revenge had some flaws, but was fun as hell!

Arcade's Revenge is already in the sell pile.

I'm definitely going to check out the cover project and scan the box art that isn't on there. I'd be karmically remiss if I didn't.

				Sweet.

And Arcades Revenge is shitty but fun. The controls and the level design just fuck you up, but you have a good time getting fucked up.
