Yes, it's true, the Ultima series has been put up on GoG.com, at least the first six. If you don't want to pay for them, but want to try the series, they also have Ultima 4: Quest of the Avatar for free!

I hope they get to the point of releasing 7 Part 1 and 2 and Pagan and completely ignore and disregard Ascension.

Trying not to buy it, because when I think to myself, "Hey, the old Ultima games might be a fun way to kill a few off-days," I usually end up getting no sleep, and pissed off when I'm not allowed to play it.

Ultima : Avatar was one of my favorites when I was younger. I just can't get into it now due to the fact that I just don't have the unbelievable amount of free time required to get anywhere in it. I didn't care for Exodus and I heard Warriors of Destiny wasn't very good. I thought about trying the False Prophet though.

And the goodness keeps coming! They just released Wing Commander 3, you know the Wing Commander with the FMV's that have MARK HAMILL AND MALCOLM MCDOWELL! It's not as good as other games they could release but still, it's one of the only FMV games that utilizes the star power well...
