This is a tough list, since there are so many great games for this system, but this is what I feel like selecting now. Ask me on another day this list could look different.

1. Final Fantasy VI (III)
2. Chrono Trigger
3. Zelda: Link to the Past
4. Secret of Mana (When I have a second player, otherwise this game would be further down the list)
5. Super Metroid
6. Final Fantasy IV (II)
7. Equinox
8. Illusion of Gaia
9. Soulblazer
10. F-Zero

I could probably pick enough to make a top 20 but I think I'll just give honorable mentions to the following (in no particular order)..
7th Saga
Starfox
Breath of Fire 1 & 2
Earthworm Jim 1 & 2
Donkey Kong Country 1 & 2 (never played 3 enough)
Secret of Evermore
Castlevania 4
Actraiser

Zombies ate my neighbors is awesome. I forgot all about that game. I think I got to level fourty something. Honorable mention for sure.

I've also played Contra III, UN Squdaron, Gradius III, Final Fight, all worthy of recognition as well.

That's a solid list. There's also a plethera of great games on that system I've missed that I need to try someday soon.

That's in no particular order, though I'd like to point out that LTTP and Mega Man Legends are my favorite titles from their franchises.

I forgot to give an honorable mention to Mega Man X. I played MM 7 and X2 only once briefly but never got very far into them.

I've also played Contra III, UN Squdaron, Gradius III, Final Fight, all worthy of recognition as well.

I beat the game with my sister years ago on the SNES. Of course I was the hot chick and she was the nerd with 3D Glasses.

Earthbound, Lufia II, and Terranigma will have to get some play time from me, since I've never played any of them. I usually favor RPGs. However, Earthbound may have to wait until I strike it rich. I'm not exactly made of hundreds of dollars.

Yeah, Earthbound is one of the games people mention that I just can't afford to get unfortunately Sad Hopefully Nintendo will one day release a Mother-compilation for the 3DS or Wii U (not gonna happen)

Damn, forgot to include Terranigma into my list. Shame on me. It is with any doubt one of the best games on the SNES.
