Thought this video was pretty ridiculous and the guy talking in it is pretty annoying but I have to say I agree with the outcome. South Park owns, hands down.

As a rabid consumer whore I own the full (currently available as it were) sets of both properties, and honestly South Park is funnier.
Go back and watch the first few seasons of Family Guy, shits not that funny and relies far to much on current events which inevitably become stale with the passage of time. Sure it's hilarious when it happens but it really doesn't have any shelf life.
This is where y'all will hate me, but you know what did have long term shelf life joke wise, at least before it became a mockery of itself somewhere around the 13th season? The Simpsons.

I'm still trying to pin point the exact season Simpsons stopped being good. My current theory is whatever season the 300th episode was in, because that episode was so bad, I actually stopped watching about half way through when it originally aired. Season 13 still has some great episodes, but continuity is starting to get muddled at that point. Like I love "The Blunder Years", but it completely retells Homer meeting Lenny Carl and Moe and their knowledge of the nuclear plant at that point.

IMHO Seasons 1 - 2 is where they found themselves, 3 - 8 or so is the golden stuff, and 9 - 13 is where it starts sucking more and more, with a few gems in betwixt all the crapisodes.

Oh man, watching seasons 1 and 2 now makes you almost embarrassed for them...

The Simpsons did go downhill a little but every now and then it surprises me with some really funny shit. Unfortunately I don't have television so I can't watch new episodes that often.

Well yes and no, nowadays of course it's dated and awkward and pretty hit or miss. But compare it to all other original animation from it's era that's not part of something massive and controlled (Disney, stuff like that) and it ain't so bad at all. Early Simpsons had a lot of heart and morality to go along with the silliness and social commentary. They kept ahold of that for a long time too, where it faded is strictly a you mileage may very sort of thing though.

I'd say the Simpsons really went south when they started playing some new pop song in each episode and it usually involves a chase scene or something stupid like that.
South Park >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Family Guy
I used to like Family Guy and I own the first four seasons and the movie but I can't stand them anymore. I own South Park seasons 2 - 12 and started watching them in order. Season 2 could have been written last year for the most part. Honestly, even the Saddam Hussein being satan's lover stuff could make sense today. Matt and Trey were visionaries if you think about it.

I think the episode of south park that rips on family guy says it all
Episode IV comes first, that is good parenting.

They both suck.
Futurama is better.

You suck, Futurama is better than South Park in my honest opinion. Old Futurama is still funny, Old South Park is just old. South Park is best when it's fresh and cutting edge.

It's because South park is far more satirical and topical. When people forget the events the humor is based on, it loses its edge.

Yeah... but sometimes it comes around again full circle and is twice as funny.

Yeah, Futurama is definitely better than South Park. Sometimes South Park becomes grating or just unnecessarily gross or just stupid. Plus I really hate how South Park turned into headline of the week episodes for awhile, might have changed now but at one point, whatever was the big thing in the news was what that week's episode was going to be about. Futurama I can always go back and watch over and over and still be entertained and not want to skip any of it. Well, except Jurassic Bark, but that's for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't say Futurama is always funnier, but I do agree that when all cylinders are firing, Futurama is probably the best show I've ever seen. I challenge ANY series to come up with an episode as good as Roswell That Ends Well, or Luck of the Fryish.
Futurama's first few seasons were quite good, however its more recent episodes aren't as compelling.
Roswell That Ends Well was awesome.

I disagree. I've only seen the first season of new episodes since it came back but I feel like the show has slightly more freedom in making risque jokes than it did originally and the stories are still classic Futurama fair. For example, I think The Duh Vinci Code is hilariously funny and Lethal Inspection continues their trend of having a few episodes that are funny and still can tug at your heart strings at the same time; I thought the end montage of Hermes remembering how he saved Bender from being scrapped and resigned rather than destroy "faulty" robots was really touching and along the lines of the endings of Jurassic Bark and Leela's Homeworld. That Darn Katz gets old I'll admit, but the rest are pretty good. Better even than most of the DVD movies.
